Getting started

Install the agent on macOS

Install and open Titan Device Agent on an Apple Silicon Mac.

Before you install

Use the Titan macOS installer supplied with your access on an Apple Silicon Mac. Use the operating-system requirements supplied with that installer. The Apple Silicon package does not establish support for an Intel Mac.

Finish or stop active jobs before updating the agent.

Install and launch

  1. Open the supplied macOS installer and complete its prompts.
  2. Approve the installation with an authorized administrator account when macOS requests it.
  3. Open the installed Titan agent from Applications. Its display name is Titan PC Agent.
  4. Use the menu bar icon's Open action to return to its local status page.

Open the app yourself after installation or after signing back into the Mac. An installed background service is separate from the running Titan app.

If macOS refuses the package, confirm that you have the intended installer and contact your Titan administrator with the message. Avoid modifying files inside the installed app bundle.

Pair and attach a phone

  1. Open PC Agent in Titan and choose Connect.
  2. Paste the setup code into the local app and submit it once.
  3. Wait for Titan to report the agent as connected.
  4. Connect the iPhone by USB, unlock it, and accept any trust prompt on the phone.

Check background services

Open Host Deps in Titan. If a required background service was disabled in macOS, follow the displayed guidance to re-enable it in the Mac's login/background-item settings.

When Titan offers Repair, use that action and approve its macOS prompt if appropriate. Once it completes, recheck the dependency. Keep the Mac awake during automation.

Confirm setup

Check that PC Agent is connected and the iPhone appears under Devices. Complete iPhone setup, then resolve any remaining readiness checks.

The menu bar app also provides Quit and Uninstall…. Stop active work before using either. Use the supplied uninstall action when removing the agent so its background components can be removed together.
