Prepare media and post templates

Choose available media, save post instructions, and understand what saving a template does.

A post template records content and publishing choices for a workflow. Saving a template prepares data; a run performs the phone actions.

Make media available

The media picker shows files reported from your agent's configured media library. Keep the computer supplying the files connected. If the library is empty, ask the person managing that PC Agent to confirm its media-folder setup and file discovery.

Files are associated with their source machine. The same file on another computer is a separate selection. Before starting a run, verify that the selected media is still available from its intended source.

The Resources viewer is not a media-upload page.

Create a post template

Open the post composer, or use the edit link for an existing post supplied by your workflow.

  1. Enter an internal Name so you can identify the template later.
  2. Enter the description and any other post settings your workflow needs.
  3. Add carousel items and choose Pick from library for each item.
  4. Check the source machine and availability of the media you choose.
  5. Add the text, style, position, or stickers required for each item.
  6. Review the items and choose Save.

The form allows up to 20 carousel items. Follow any narrower requirements of the target app and selected strategy.

Read availability and feature labels

Only currently reachable media can be newly selected. A stale or unavailable library result needs a refresh before you choose another item. A saved media reference can remain visible when its source goes offline; visibility is not proof that a new run can retrieve it.

Fields marked Not applied at runtime yet are saved for authoring but do not establish an on-device effect. In particular, the filter field describes a future runtime behavior; do not rely on that saved filter being applied by the current publish flow.

Use the template in a run

Have your assistant select the saved post through the requirements of the intended strategy. Confirm the account, privacy, media, and text before starting.

After the run, inspect its outcome and screenshots and the target app. Saving a post or accepting a start request is not evidence that the post was published.

If media disappears between selection and save, refresh the library and choose an available item. If a run has already attempted publishing, check the app before retrying to avoid an unintended duplicate.
