Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about setup, automation, access, and current Titan workflows.
Do I need to leave the computer on?
Yes. Keep the computer running Titan Device Agent awake, online, and connected to the phones while automation runs. The browser dashboard can be on another computer.
Does closing the dashboard stop work?
Closing a browser tab is not a queue or run control. Use Pause, Stop, or Cancel as appropriate and check the reported state. See Queue controls.
Is Always-On Display enough to keep a phone ready?
Always-On Display shows a dimmed Lock Screen. To prevent automatic screen locking, open Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock on the iPhone and select Never. Keep the phone unlocked during automation. The iPhone setup guide includes both settings and the Developer Mode steps.
Is larger text required?
Larger accessibility text is recommended for readability. Choose a size that leaves the app's controls usable. It is separate from Developer Mode and readiness requirements.
Should I generate another setup code when the agent is offline?
First open the existing agent and Re-check status. Generating a new code replaces pairing credentials, so use it when you intend to pair or replace the host. See Pair the PC Agent.
Where are the resource import and strategy editing forms?
Use your MCP-connected assistant for resource changes, strategy source authoring, run setups, and queue preparation. The browser provides the current Resources viewer, strategy review, and execution monitoring/control surfaces.
Why can I see a shared strategy but not its source?
Discovery, permission to run, and private source access are separate. Use your own resources and setup when running shared work. See Strategies.
Will changing a strategy update my old setup automatically?
Do not assume it will. Releases and saved setup versions use fixed selections. Ask your assistant to inspect and deliberately update the intended setup before starting another run.
What is the difference between soft pause and hard pause?
Soft pause stops new scheduling without itself interrupting active work. Hard pause interrupts current work as well. Resume does not restore interrupted items. See Queues.
Does Finished mean every step succeeded?
No. Review the overall outcome and the recorded attempts in My Runs. A run can finish with failures or skipped attempts.
Can I recover an API key after closing its creation dialog?
The complete secret is shown once. Create a replacement if you lost it, and revoke the unused key. See Personal API keys.
Does a saved proxy change all iPhone traffic?
No. Titan's proxy selection applies to supported queued runs and Playground chats. It does not configure a phone-wide VPN. See Proxies.
Where do I get help?
Contact Titan support on Telegram or the administrator who invited you. Include the details listed in Contact support.
